I feel like this Zin has been going downhill with each vintage. ‘12 & ‘13 were excellent. ‘14 & ‘15 were decent but a bit thin. Now this 2016 doesn’t even taste like the same juice. Could just be me. Getting a little better as it opens up though.

This is a big ripe zin that needs to breathe a while before it can be fully appreciated. The nose is expansive and the taste does linger. Did have a few rough edges but still pared well with hearty soups and red meats. Drank in January 2022
