A fantastic new Chardonnay from Beringer winemaker Ed Sbragia who started his own boutique label sourcing the best Napa Valley fruit. previous vintage 94 Points Robert Parker: "A barrel sample of the Chardonnay Gamble Ranch plays it closer to the vest than the 2012. It possesses slightly high acids and less buttery richness, but it is loaded, and should turn out to be nearly as good as the 2012. Drink now-2018...When Ed Sbragia was the chief winemaker for Beringer, he had a Midas touch with many wines, but above all, he knew how to produce hedonistic, complex, full-flavored Chardonnays, which he continues to do at his own winery. As for the 2012s, as one might expect, they reveal more glycerin, body and density as well as denser fruit and sweeter tannin."

What a big luscious Chardonnay. Great nose, big flavor and long smooth finish. It’s doesn’t get any better than this.
