The last release from this vineyard for a while, as the vines were replanted, it's a ripe, sexy wine that has notable purity in its ripe black fruits, spice box, licorice, and chocolate aromas and flavors. Deep purple color. Nose is ripe fruits, cherry and plum, licorice, spices, smoke, toast, pie crust. Palate has that and coffee, lots of pepper. Med plus tannins. 52% Grenache, 48% Syrah. 15.7% alcohol. Has several times been a group favorite with steak.
