Limited new release from Saxum. 97 Points Jeb Dunnuck: "Bottled in April (as were all the early release 2018s), the 2018 Paderewski Vineyard is 44% Syrah, 22% Mataro, 15% Zinfandel, 9% Grenache, and the rest Tempranillo and Viognier. Deep purple, it has a wonderful bouquet of blueberries, wild strawberries, ground pepper, orange blossom, licorice, and violets. Delectable calls this a zin blend but it is far more a Syrah blend with a heavy dose of mataro. The lead is the Syrah though. Texturally stunning - like other Saxums I’ve had. blue and black and the slight funk I always associate with Syrah. Lovely and only going to get better.
