Rombauer Vineyards Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2018

$24

Rare new Sauvignon Blanc from Rombauer! Just the fouth vintage of Sauvignon Blanc ever made by Rombauer so it disappears fast. The 2018 Rombauer Sauvignon Blanc is brilliant pale yellow with a bright green hue. It exudes aromas of ripe lime, grapefruit, pear and white nectarine with a subtle hint of fresh-cut grass. The palate is fresh and enticing, as grapefruit, white nectarine and deep tropical notes intertwine making the mouth water. Balanced yet lively acidity lingers on the palate inviting another taste. Boxwood on the finish gives the wine length and vibrant freshness. Introduced with the 2014 vintage, Rombauer's Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc marks an exciting milestone for Rombauer Vineyards – the first new varietal introduced in more than 20 years and only the second white wine in our 39-year history.

Grapefruit, lemon, lime zest, apple, peach, slate and hay. Bracing acidity and great minerality.

Refreshing blend of lemon, cantaloupe, and honeydew, with hints of grapefruit on the palate. A bit on the acidic side, but nice overall.

A bit more citrus and lime than 2016 vintage we already like, nice and balanced.
