CA's most popular Chardonnay New Rombauer 2018 Chardonnay Carneros now available! Rombauer Vineyards' Carneros Chardonnay has enticing aromas of bright citrus and melon are layered with spice, vanilla and a touch of butter. Vibrant flavors of mango and guava meld with vanilla and soft spice on the creamy, rich palate. The finish is juicy and satisfying with refreshing acidity that makes you crave another sip True Chardonnay fans have Rombauer at the top of their list year in and year out. The new release of the Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay is golden yellow color with a pale hue. Seductive aromas of peach, melon, and citrus are balanced with honeysuckle and vanilla. On the palate, flavors of pears, peaches and melons are backed with lively acidity. A nice touch of vanilla-scented oak provides an added flavor dimension. The creamy palate has a lingering finish of melon and citrus fruit with a satisfying buttery complexity. Our favorite pairing for this wine includes scallops in a cream sauce, pasta carbonara, chicken risotto and Cornish game hen. Harvested at 25 Brix.

I won at pool, not at poker. This wine epitomizes the style. Perfectly representative of the stereotype.

Really well balanced for a mass produced and mass hyped over the top chard. Bravo.

It's decent but definitely not worth the price. The first over $20 chard I've had and I like a lot of $12 versions better. A bit sharper than I prefer, not into the finish. Won't get again. It's not terrible, it's just not a taste profile I prefer and it's really expensive for what you get imo.

Not too acidic. Light oak. Overall a good Chardonnay

Sure, oak is prominent here, but to me it’s more of a decoy for the lovely fresh stone fruit core and enhances the nuances of cantaloupe, lime, honeysuckle, and light citrus. Acidity is round yet firm, good enough to give the richly textured palate a lift. I usually prefer more saline and mineral, but this is undeniably well made and delicious. And quite elegant.

Rich bouquet, prominent citrus notes and acidity with a long creamy finish. A very drinkable go to white.

Apple, pear and lemon blended seamlessly with a buttery oak creaminess that never ever disappoints. An excellent Chardonnay.
