Keenan is a fantastic producer on Napa Valley's Spring Mountain. Neighboring Pride, Paloma, Barnett and Cain, a beautiful mountain Cabernet we highly recommend. Robert Parker: "Their 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is 100% Cabernet, has a dense ruby/purple color, attractive floral and blackcurrant fruit notes, medium body, and a lovely finish with no hard edges. This is the definition of elegance, restraint and finesse. Drink it over the next 10-12 years.... ...This winery on Spring Mountain has been doing an impeccable job of winemaking for a number of years now, and they continue to show a Midas touch across all varieties they work with."

3rd night was the charm. The initial sip was a chocolate fruit bomb. It then turned rather austere. And came together after 3 days of playing with it. At its best the wood, fruit, earth, and tannins were all in balance and nailed a Bordeaux Napa combo.

Deep color beautiful black fruit and mineral aromas just a touch of cigar box and sandal wood. On the palate it is the very definition of a #napacab with length and just slightly chewy tannins minty finish. I’m loving it. #napa #cabernetsauvignon

What was meant to be a casual dinner with friends over homemade BLTs ended up turning into a full-blown wine dinner. . Juicy, savory, and pretty balanced. I’ve always enjoyed Keenan. Dark fruits like muddled blueberries and blackberries, dark chocolate, cedar/musk.
