Very Limited new release of Pride winemaker Robert Foley's private label. The Robert Foley Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most collectible Napa Cabernets available. 95 Points Wine Spectator: "The delicious, fruit-forward, dense purple-colored 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits plenty of roasted espresso notes intermixed with cassis, chocolate and toasty oak. Opulent, full-bodied and unctuously textured, it should continue to drink well for 10-12 years." The irrepressible and highly talented Bob Foley is out on his own now, although still consulting, and these wines are his personal projects. They have been very successful in the past, and there’s no indication that he intends to rest on his laurels.

Decanted for about four hours. Full-bodied, silky smooth, and really delicious. Dark cherries, blackberries, cocoa, and espresso.

Definitely a day 2 wine, Heat dissipated somewhat & the flavors emerged. Has another 10-15 years on it.

Big and bold lots of fruit up front, some licorice, dark fruits, tannins were like silk, toasted Carmel and vanilla finish, and what a great finish, Foley never disappoints.
