Reynolds Family Winery Stags Leap District Merlot 2010

$49.99

Reynolds Family makes one of the best 'undiscovered' Merlots we've tasted this year in California.  Try this beauty while its still available. From the famous Stags Leap District vineyards near Silver Oak and Caymus, this elegant Merlot has a nose of bright blueberries and vanilla with a touch of dark cherries and subtle smoky characteristics. Although spicy in the front of the pallet it has a soft and silky finish. Fantastic!

Didn’t know Merlot could taste this way. Blueberry juice with well integrated oak and silky tannin. A wine even @Ted Corvey can love.

Don't drink much Merlot, but this is a terrific wine. Plenty of acid to balance the fruit.

Just a nice Merlot. Damn nice. Good balance of fruit and earth, good for the non Merlot fan as well.

Big fruit. A bit high on alcohol. Enjoyable.
