Red Car Sonoma Coast Rosé of Pinot Noir 2016

$24.99

Limited new release of one of California's hottest rosés! Red Car makes one of our favorite summer sippers. A true vin gris in style, grapes for Red Car's 2016 rosé were whole cluster pressed and fermented bone-dry without seed or skin contact. Cool-climate, true Sonoma Coast vineyards inform the invigorating style with the with the biodynamically-farmed Bybee Vineyard contributing the majority of the fruit. Tasting Notes: "A dashingly light shade of pale melon-pink and with an aromatic profile of tangerine oil, pink grapefruit, and bing cherries. Cool-climate West Sonoma Coast vineyards give the wine its hallmark style."

Super bright and slightly tart. Strawberry, tangerine, apricot, and some tart berry. Decent acidity. Not as much bright tangerine fruit as last year. Still good.

Have always loved this rosé. Super crisp and bright. Sometimes this wine can get a little tart but not this bottle. Slight hint of something sweet is balanced well from its acidity. Strawberries, lime and some apples.

This never disappoints! Bright fruit overtaken by crisp acidity. Makes you forget about the pouring rain outside the window on the first day of a beach weekend! Wish I could send the rain to California. But since I can’t #drinksonoma is the best I can do. #sonomastrong

I do drink California wine on occasion. Great acidic brings focus to Jammy strawberry flavors and a little lime.
