Extremely limited. 97 Points James Suckling: "Aromas of blue fruits, blackberries, tile and lead pencil. Fully body, firm tannins and a fresh, bright finish. Layered and intense with white pepper and salt undertones. Love the finish to the racy young wine. Beautiful blue fruits!” 96 Points Robert Parker: "A beautiful floral, black raspberry and blackcurrant nose soars from this dense ruby/purple wine. Medium-bodied, beautifully rich and layered, the emphasis is on discreet yet intense flavors, power allied with elegance, and wonderfully supple, lush tannins. This wine has great balance, purity, and presence on the palate and should evolve beautifully for two decades or more.”

A blend of Cab Sauvignon, Merlot, Cab Franc, and Petit Verdot & aged for 22 months in French oak (76% new). Deep Ruby with complex aromas of red and black fruits, and spicy notes of earthy herb scents. On the palate flavors of currants, cherries and wild blackberries and cacao. Firm structured tannins, well balanced with acidity, long finish ending with notes of leather and a gentle mineral essence which gave this wine a silky ending.

We had the 2015 Vintage on 12/29/23. Simply and elegant wine. This has all the highlights of a great Napa floor Cab. Black cherry, blackberry, plum, cedar and kirsch. Well balanced, fruit forward and full bodied.

Nose has a lot of red and black fruit; cherry pie filling, raspberry jam, creme de cassis, ripe blackberry, nutmeg and light baking spices, white pepper, dusty cedar box, vanilla, pencil shavings, dried violets, earl grey tea, and mushrooms. Strong tannins on the palate, long, elegant finish. Deep complexity, layered character. Full-bodied. I can only imagine this wine ten years on. Classic pairing with filet mignon and white truffle sautéed mushrooms, roasted potatoes and asparagus. Vintage 2015. 14.5% ABV. Happy Anniversary @Deked1 ❤️❤️
