Soaring aromatics, plush fruit and compelling inner sweetness make the Syrah one of the most seductive, alluring wines of the year. Sage, tobacco, mint, crème de cassis and spice build into the gorgeous, expansive finish. In a word: Superb." Grown in Napa, but inspired by the Northern Rhone style, the PlumpJack 2019 Syrah exhibits a smoky, gamey nose layered with white and black pepper, with complementary notes of blueberry and raspberry aromatics. Well structured, the palate is full of bright raspberries, black pepper and smoke. This wine has beautiful finesse, great concentration and vibrant acidity.

2019 vintage. This one is for @Ron R. Massive mouthfeel/bod and slightly sweet but not unpleasantly so. Nebulous flavor cloud of jammy flavors without semi-clear definition and direction currently. Still…so giving and voluptuous. Jiggly. Will be intriguing to see where this settles in two years…five years…a decade. Magic 8-Ball wisdom…”Cannot Predict Now” but sure as heck wanna be there when it gets opened.
