Peter Michael Winery Estate Vineyard Le Caprice Pinot Noir 2017

$149.99

Rare Le Caprice Pinot Noir release from cult producer Peter Michael. Limited. 97 Points Robert Parker: "A barrel sample, the Peter Michael 2017 Pinot Noir Le Caprice is pale to medium ruby-purple and has an incredibly perfumed nose offering up an array of baking spices and incense over a core of black raspberries, kirsch and redcurrants with wafts of roses, pomegranate and dried Provence herbs. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with wonderfully ripe, silt-like tannins and great freshness supporting the intensely perfumed fruit, finishing long."

Medium ruby with red floral and cherry on top of mineral notes on the nose. Definitely could lay down for some years, but focused and all there today.

Wow drank this 2 years ago and now it's even better. Has a dense fruit full mouthfeel that's just a little hot on the finish. Really delicious.
