Fantastic new boutique Cabernet blend from up and coming producer PerUs and winemaker Russell Bevan and sourced from the Tench Vineyard next to Screaming Eagle in the heart of Oakville, Napa Valley. Limited.  Russell Bevan's "Pont" made for PerUs winery, is a classic Bordeaux-style blend consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Tench Vineyard (neighbor to Screaming Eagle and Rudd) along with Cabernet Franc and Merlot from the Sugarloaf Vineyard. The Tench Vineyard is located on Oakville's east end on the benchlands. The vineyard's iron rich soils are planted with some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the world.40% Tench Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Sugarloaf Merlot, 25% Sugarloaf Cabernet Franc. The 2020 Pont has an amazing linear power.Tobacco, bright cherry, and a kiss of bittersweet chocolate. This wine showcases complexity and energy. Only 300 cases produced.
