WNH event number 3...new world Pinot. Such a treat to experience the many different variations of Pinot! Large and in charge! Big fruit medley of red and black fruit on the nose, with some cedar, and roasted black cherries. Thought this would be flabbier on the palate but the acidity was great. Thanks @Shawn R

Big extracted PN, nearly black in the glass. A Cali Cab lover PN.

Big and brawny without giving up its pinot character - this is classic Carneros pinot noir. Red fruit, leather, and s but if dried orange peel tucked underneath. Big but elegant, juicy but not at all over-extracted. Beautiful wine and gray with food (I loved it with Duck with blueberries). Well-balanced

Secondary notes like black tea are becoming more pronounced, which I enjoy. It’s a different wine than when we first tried it soon after release at the winery. Both are really impressive.

Enticing Pinot. Intense burgundy color with baked red cherries and leather notes on the nose. The pallet has soft fruit, bright acidity which is beautifully balanced with earthyness that just keeps you salivating way beyond the finish. Slight hints of cocoa and oak of the mid pallet as well. Quintessential Carneros Pinot, but then again, I’ve loved most Hyde Vineyard wines I’ve tasted.

$76. Darker aroma than the crossbarn Pinot. This one is much better than the Crossbarn as well. More smooth and better blended. I much prefer this one over the previous. My initial rating was a 8.9 but that was only having had pinots at that point. When I came back to this one after trying some malbecs and cabs I probably wouldn't have given it as high a score.
