A true second label, CrossBarn is culled from the same vineyards as Hobbs’ estate wine. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged twenty months in French and American oak barrels, the Crossbarn Cabernet is bottled both unfined and unfiltered. Awesome juice from a winemaking paragon. 91 Points Robert Parker:  "Almost entirely Cabernet Sauvignon from valley-floor sites, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley offers up scents of raspberries and cherries, plus hints of pencil shavings and crushed herbs. It's medium to full-bodied, with a smooth, silky feel and some dusty tannins on the finish. Easy and approachable but structured enough to pare with rare beef or lamb, it's a good example of what can still be achieved in Napa at a reasonable price... ...A sub-label of Paul Hobbs, Crossbarn produces two Cabernet Sauvignons—one from Sonoma County (a blend of Moon Mountain and Alexander Valley fruit) and one from Napa Valley (sourced from several different AVAs).
