Pahlmeyer Jayson Napa Valley Red Blend 2021

New release!  The Pahlmeyer Jayson Red is a second label Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend of the same wine that goes into the Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red.  This is a fantastic opportunity at a great price - limited. 93 Points James Suckling: "Aromas of blackcurrant, sliced plum, coriander and cardamom. Full-bodied with silky tannins. Nicely concentrated, without being overblown. Sweet spice and black fruit wash over the palate, with some black-tea notes coming through as well. I like the subtlety here." Jayson Red from Pahlmeyer is a distinctive blend of Bordeaux varieties from some of Napa Valley’s finest vineyards, crafted to express each vintage with intensity and richness. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks to enhance its fresh fruit profile and retain its bright acidity. It was then racked to barrels (22% New French Oak) for fifteen months and bottled with minimal fining and filtration.
