Owen Roe Sinister Hand Columbia Valley Red Rhone Blend 2015

$26.99

A delicious red blend one one of Washington State's most innovative wineries. The primary source for this intense and lovely wine is Dr. Steve Elerding's vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills, where the proximity of the Columbia River is a vital part of the success of these traditional Rhone varietals. This wine is very dark with ripe stone fruit flavors, pepper and an excellent texture. The blend is 62% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 3% Mourvedre.

2015 just bottled last week. Open for a day and surprisingly giving. Really good, club exclusive, southern Rhone, G/S/M/Cinsault, great QPR.

4 Grape Rhône style blend. Bright red color. Musky aromas of cherry and cedar. Dark Cherry pronounced fruit with hints of cranberry, dried herbs and baking spices. A little Smokey. Balanced, lively and rich. Good for summer drinking with a chill.

A good red for most dishes. Needs some time to open up - has a cough syrup aftertaste early on.

Nice GSM blend drinks like a young Rhone table wine but a little brighter.
