This is the kind of under-the-radar wines we love discovering for our customers. Highly recommended. Petit Batard comes from Xtant winery in Napa Vallery and is an amazing value. The fruit is sourced from the Heritage vineyard Oakville and Lewelling vineyard in St. Helena, that often go into wines like Caymus. Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with some Malbec and Merlot, this super-satisfying, rich, velvety, luscious red should be purchased by the case. Crafted by winemaker Jeff Gaffner (Saxon Brown). Trust us, it will please everyone and is a tremendous value in this market of high-priced Cabernets. This "Little Bastard" is the "illegitimate offspring" of XTANT Red.
