A new great-value Cabernet Sauvignon from the folks at PlumpJack's Odette Estate. Limited. Blackberry liqueur, blueberries, hints of black currants and dried herbs intertwine into one harmonious wine. The silky texture, fresh acidity and long lingering finish leave a staining impression across the palate. This is a beautiful showing of Cabernet Sauvignon in a truly magnificent vintage.

Happy Birthday Neal! Drank next to the 2014 Cade. More expressive nose than the former and the lightness carries through to the palate. That being said, it lacks the concentration of the Cade and seems a touch shallow in comparison. They call this baby PlumpJack...whatever. Fun to try them back to back. Better value than the Cade.

A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Merlot, dark red with red fruit and herb spice aromas. On the palate cherry, raspberry and blackberry flavors with underlying sweetness and fine tannins. Lingering finish ending with espresso and cacao notes.

Perfect Goldilocks wine - jammy but not TOO jammy, tannic but not... you get the idea. Totally understand the other comments on its relatively weak finish and a certain lack of complexity but in terms of drinkability, it scores high.
