90 Points Robert Parker: "The 2018 Grüner Veltliner Hefeabzug opens with a clear, elegant and warm, well-balanced and slightly flinty bouquet of ripe fruits, blossoms and almonds. The attack on the palate is vivacious then round and lush. Bottled with 11.5% alcohol, the 2018 doesn't taste as dry as this wine normally is and reminds me of grape juice but in a more elaborated, refined and mineral way. Tasted from lot 1078719 at the Nikolaihof in September 2019."

Such a classic & so full of grunerosity: canned green beans, butter lettuce and loads of lime on the nose. On the palate, more of the same, plus some underripe tropical fruit and a pleasant hint of citrus pith. It’s the texture that gets me on this wine—almost inappropriately supple. Opened last night but think it’s drinking even better on day 2.

Very nice Gruner. Quite rich mouthfeel. A bit creamy, some nice white fruit but more minerality. Good acid. Very nice and a great value. Always enjoy pouring from the long bottle (magnum would be even more fun).
