Rare boutique Chardonnay from the legendary Hyde Vineyard - limited. 96+ Points Jeb Dunnuck: "From a south-facing parcel and including 18% stems, the Nid Tissé 2023 Pinot Noir Radian Vineyard offers red and black fruits, flowers, and peppery herbs. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a gorgeous texture, fine tannins, and a silky, elegant mouthfeel reminiscent of a great Volnay. Made from 100% Pinot Noir and aged 10 months in 20% new Burgundian oak, this complex beauty will evolve nicely for 10-12 years if well stored." Marie-Laure Ammons founded Nid Tissé, the name itself translates to “woven nest”, in French. A native of France, she studied wine in Burgundy and Bordeaux. Nid Tisse evokes traveling to a new place and making a home - hers being in Napa Valley for nearly 20 years, 18 of them working with Philippe Melka. Nid Tisse reflects a marriage of the old and new world -California sunshine with freshness, texture and ability to gracefully age that are rooted in the tradition of old world wines. Great wines come from great vineyards and she is excited be working with the historic vineyards and some of the great grape growing families in the region, Bacigalupi and Hyde.
