Another beautiful Chardonnay from Neyer's Carneros vineyard. Fans of Rombauer or Cakebread Chardonnay will love this delicious small-production wine. Get it while it's still available. 93 Points Wine Spectator: "Notably rich and creamy, yet elegant and refined, this Chardonnay delivers a supple, fleshy beam of white peach, nectarine and fresh-cut flowers, with a creamy vanilla edge. Drink now through 2018. ." Robert Parker: "...It was good to see longtime wine enthusiast, national sales rep for Kermit Lynch Importers, vineyard owner, and wine producer, Bruce Neyers, who has one of the most important palates on the West Coast. Neyers, who utilizes the services of Ehren Jordan of Turley Wine Cellars as his winemaker, has consistently turned out beautiful Chardonnays as well as fine Merlots, Zinfandels, and Syrahs."

Pretty amazing. Incredibly rich and pronounced everywhere. Although it doesn't exist, it's as if it went through Malo twice. All kinds of tropical fruit and smooth acidity. Fantastic expression of Chardonnay.

It's hard to find something better than this! It's buttery and light on the nose, fresh and dissapates quickly. Had this initially at a Dinner with appetizers, fish and steak. Now drinking on it's own with someone who doesn't do Chardonnay that changed their mind! Melon forward and lovely :)

As that sits in the glass it made me think, "There are less than a handful of producers with their HQ in Napa who posses the vision to make a mineral driven Chard, one that possesses the absence of fruit." Neyers can. Smart people.
