Les Petits Morlet is the offspring (second label) to their mature Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings. Limited. 95 Points Brix26: "Displaying a very intense bouquet of black currant, candied red and black cherries and mocha, intermixed with hints of blond tobacco leaves and earthy notes of leather and toasted red pepper. This wine possesses youthful, yet sweet tannins and is characterized by its overall richness, suave character and approachability." Jodie and Luc Morlet, whose family owns Pierre Morlet & Fils in Champagne, founded their own wine estate in St. Helena, California in 2006. Ever since then they have been producing countless vintages of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. They have specialized in taking winemaking techniques from the Old World and adapting them to California’s terroir.
