The 17 vintage drinking very nicely right now, and better than previous vintages I tried. Delicious layers of cassis and red fruit. Well rounded. At 16% alcohol it’s rightfully called the Boxer.

Deep, dark Ruby with a big fruity nose and lots of ripe berries. Jammy big and bold blackberry flavors with some spice, cacao and leather notes with nice mouthfeel, slight alcohol noticed. Soft tannins with berry fruit carried over to the finish with hints of oak and sweet spice. Nice!

Just arrived in Waikiki, the last stop of our Hawaii tour. Nice hotel with a corner suite. Got to buy some wine and the ABC store round the corner had a really nice selection including this which I haven’t had in a while. Nice and well-rounded with cassis and red berries.

Cassis, Kakao, butter, more presence than others, own character, it feels good, strong and a bit spicy. Ammersee. An honest wine. It can join you in any evening. An amazing wine. A bit bitter in the end. Your gf/bf will fall in love with you if you share it with her/him. A piece of cake. Amazing.

Deep ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, cacao, dried herbs and leather. Strong alcohol (16%), warm berries, perfect with sausage ravioli and tomato/herb marinara.

In Houston. Got this at Trader Joe’s for $27. Nice wine at this price point. Visited the winery last year...they do a nice tour/tasting program.
