One of our favorite Pinot Noir producers from Santa Barbara. Greg Brewer's touch with Pinot should be discovered by all Pinophiles! 94 Points Antonio Galloni: "Crushed red berries, mint, flowers and cinnamon lift from the glass in the 2012 Pinot Noir Estate Sta. Rita Hills. This is one of the most polished, refined and aromatically expressive wines I have tasted from Melville. What a gorgeous, radian and totally sexy wine this is 100% of the fruit is from the winerie's Santa Rita Hills Estate vineyard.

This is the 2013 Melville Santa Rita Hills Estate Pinot Noir. This is from Lompoc, CA. On the nose I get cherry, raspberries, cranberry, clove, all spice, orange peel and forest floor. On the palate there is tart cherry, strawberry, raspberry, clove, hibiscus, vanilla, allspice and earth. This is a medium bodied wine with medium + acidity and medium fine tannins that move into a medium to medium + red fruit spicy finish. I hope your weekend is going well, here it has been hot and humid. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia!

Very creamy oak, green vegetable notes, but more like fresh cut (smokey) flower stems, interesting but not my style.

Good village-level Pinot - forward, ripe, red fruit with an appealingly tart edge, and some smoky complexity.

Drink this a quaffing daily wine and still just love it! Not a better value produced making terroir driven family winemaker in the region. Melville is a steal in the wine world !

Beautiful balance. Fruit forward notes of cranberry and black cherry zing are complimented with umami, raspberry and stewed strawberry characteristic. A kiss of spicy oak and the 14% alc. make this a great choice for filet mignon or standard BBQ fare.

I love Melville. Terrific wines and a great value across the board. Sadly this is my last one. On the sweeter side, but not extracted and well-balanced. Lots of cherry cola, cinnamon and floral notes. I keep saying I’m going to get on their mailing list. I just need to suck it up and do it.

Bright tart and just awesome Pinot. 40% whole stem fermentation makes this Pinot a bit bigger and quite a bit better. This is a sure keeper!
