Lucia Vineyards (Pisoni) Santa Lucia Highands Chardonnay 2023

Limited new Chardonnay from Pisoni Vineyards Lucia label. previous vintage 94 Points Jeb Dunnuck: "The Lucia Chardonnay Estate Cuvee comes from a blend of Pisoni, Garys', and Soberanes vineyards and spent 11 months in 53% new French oak. Its medium gold hue is followed by a richer, layered, textured, medium-bodied Chardonnay revealing beautiful melon, honeyed lemon, white flowers, and chalky, mineral-like aromatics. It's balanced, has plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great finish. As with the Soberanes Vineyard, it shows the cooler, even nature of the vintage and isn't massively concentrated, yet I love its balance, purity, and elegance. Drink bottles over the coming 4-6 years."
