Limited Gary's Vineyard Syrah from Pisoni Vineyards Lucia label. 93 Points Robert Parker: "The 2014 Syrah Garys' Vineyard is another top notch Syrah from this team. Offering lots of spicy red and black fruits, tons of minerality, full-bodied richness and building tannic structure, it has terrific mid-palate density, the classic rocky earth character that's the hallmark of this site and a big finish. It's still a little rough around the edges, but it will be better with 2-3 years of cellaring and have 10-15 years of overall longevity. It's a serious, outstanding Syrah well worth seeking out." ...Year in, year out, the latest releases under the Pisoni family’s Lucia label are not only some of the top wines I taste from the Santa Lucia Highlands, but also some of the greatest values I taste from all of California. Note, the Lucia label is used for everything other than their estate Pisoni Family Vineyard Pinot Noir, which is released under their Pisoni Family label."

A little too young at this point - very fruit forward - Give it another year to settle in and drink in 2017 to 18

I am a big fan of Garys' Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. This wine does not disappoint. Lots of spice and red fruit on the nose. Great flavors of dew berries, raspberries, and earthiness. A nicely balanced wine with firm tannins and great acidity working hand in hand with each other. A really good wine from a "Grand Cru" domestic vineyard.
