Rare new release from Paso Robles cult winery Linne Calodo. Limited. 95 Points Robert Parker: "The 2020 Sticks and Stones is made up of 77% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 3% Mourvèdre. It has a medium ruby-purple color and alluring aromas of cranberry sauce, Earl Grey tea, tobacco leaves, blood orange and aniseed. The palate is medium-bodied, soft and juicy with approachable, spicy fruits and a long, layered finish." Beguiling, beautiful. Strawberries with a vivid strawberry color. Incredibly floral of roses. So much so that it carries over to the palate in a way I’ve never experienced. Not rose water, but as if I had a rose petal on my tongue. The finish lasts forever, even as a perfume in the nose.
