Rare new release from Paso Robles cult winery Linne Calodo. Limited. 93 Points Robert Parker: "Another medium to full-bodied, lightly textured, elegant effort is the 2013 Perfectionist. Made from 68% Syrah, 17% Mourvedre and 15% Grenache, it shows plenty of Mourvedre savoriness to go with ample red and black fruits, smoked meats and a touch of olive tapenade. Like all of Matt's 2013s, it's seamless and perfectly balanced, with lots to love. Drink it anytime over the coming 8-10 years. Drink: 2015-2025."

From the winery- 68% Syrah, 17% Mourvèdre, 15% Grenache This is my playful attempt at being less concerned with perfection and focusing on being dynamic, changing things on the fly and creating a wine that is truly its own. Perfectionist uses the coolest climate syrah blocks from the estate, we ferment them whole cluster, getting a phenolic structure that stands out from other wines. Cofermenting with the grenache and mourvédre allows for a rare, individualistic wine. This is the opposite of diligent blending. Aged in concrete. Drink through 2023
