96 points - limited Our favorite Chardonnay from "Down Under"! Any California Chardonnay fan will love Leeuwin's Art Series Chardonnay. Limited in production and not much is imported to the US so try it while its still available. 96 Points Wine Spectator *Highly Recommended*: "Refined and elegant, this white is supple, yet intense and precise, with lemon curd, apricot, honeycomb and mandarin orange flavors, accented by floral and mineral details. The secret weapon here is the sleek acidity, which weaves in and out, giving the flavors definition and verve. Drink now through 2034. 800 cases imported."

Stunning, laser focused, balanced. Years of runway ahead of it. Butterscotch and grapefruit notes persist.

So if you gave this to me blind I would swear it was a Burg. Wow.

Pale yellow-gold. Mineral-accented white peach, orange, pear, saffron and white flowers on the intensely perfumed nose. Fleshy and dry on the palate, offering concentrated orchard and pit fruit, chamomile and buttered toast flavors complemented by suggestions of tarragon and candied lemon peel. Shows excellent depth and precision, finishing minerally and impressively long, with lingering citrus and pit fruit notes. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, July 2021)

Palate- Peach, pear, pineapple undertones., honeysuckle, a touch of slate & spices. Power & elegance. Floats across the palate seamlessly. The balance of this is extraordinary. Highly recommended. Christmas in July. A gift from @Ron R Thank you again my very good friend. Miss you & hope to see you soon.

Round, supple, and totally delicious—with enough acid to give the palate lift

How nice it is to move away from domestic wines, and relearn that there are equally outstanding examples on other continents - let me introduce you to exhibit A. This is an Aussie benchmark displaying grapefruit, lemon and a hint of lanolin. Palate is squeaky clean, with a razor-sharp, flinty edge. Finishes long, with tension and weight. Kissed with light oak treatment, and pristine white fruits, this will run well beyond another 15 years. Brilliant.

First time - a chard from Aussie world - brilliantly made - grand cru like - supple and intense - lemon zest and honeydew and mandarin orange - decanted! - this was rated 96 by WS - hard to get in the USA - this wine will get better as built to age but incredible now - big smiles - Sunday night WNH virtual tasting

We had the 2016 Vintage on 7/24-25/22. This is more of a Sauvignon Blanc than a Chardonnay. The prevailing tastes are grapefruit and lemon. Quite acidic. Given its price, I view this as disappointing
