Fruit forward (red fruits), fresh, and balanced by soft tannins and some earthiness on the finish. Nice version of this wine.

KB definitely does better with a little bit of time in the cellar

Drinking fantastic RIGHT NOW. VA typical of KB blew off in minutes. So much fruit but still showing great balance I think due to high alcohol. Drink now.

Smells of plum and spices(bay leaves). Not tannic but great flavors of plum, bay leaves, vanilla and a hint of smokiness. Smooth and amazing

SLH stewed fruits and spice, and everything nice. Boys in Sebastapol did well with the Monterey County Juice. Super Bright Acidity

Young, fresh and boisterous with heavy oak and spice influence up front. Underwhelming upon first taste. Tannins were bigger than expected so I left the wine in a decanter for about an hour. Over the course of the next hour it all came together and harmonized nicely. Spice, although persistent, was layered in with vibrant floral notes, orange peel, and some citrus thrown in there to compliment ripe, red fruits. Brawny out of the gate but grace down the stretch with an elegant finish.
