Extremely limited Kosta Browne single-vineyard Pinot Noir from Gap's Crown. Gap’s Crown is considered by many to be one of the best representations of what the Petaluma Gap AVA, the southern component of Sonoma Coast, is all about. Sweeping vineyards with dramatic elevation changes and clonal variety define this exemplary site. Each year, this Pinot Noir dazzles with its stunning purity and lush flavors—and 2018 is no exception. From its mouthwatering tension to its seductive, flowing flavors of blueberry, blackberry pie, and honeycomb, this is classic Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. To capture the site’s vibrancy, most of the wine was fermented in stainless steel, with a small portion aged in concrete to enhance the wine’s irresistible mouthfeel.

Drank it for my 62nd birthday at Mastro Restaurant in Costa Mesa on 12/10/22 with Miral, Kyle and Gabby. Drinks better with a little aeration. Absolutely love it!!

Punchy and eager. This wine is always raring to go. I love the lively fruit and the lingering finish. Not very deep but it’s youth has a great energy.

A richer Pinot - well balanced, silky smooth, notes of fruit without overpowering. I want to visit this one.

when you’ve drank all your everyday wine, you’ve got no choice but to open up the good stuff.
