From Kistler winemaker                                    Jason Kesner, winemaker at Kistler Vineyards, has created another amazing wine. Limited. Owner/Winemaker Jason Kesner  makes Kistler-esque, non-intervention, “Burgundian” Chardonnays.  The 2014 Rockbreak Chardonnay is sourced  from the Idell Vineyard, a site planted by Steve Matthiasson in the cool Petaluma Gap in Southern Sonoma County. It deftly marries the rich, exotic, vibrant and complex. Smell & taste lemon chiffon, peach pie, pineapple, and buttery toast. Crisp acidity keeps everything focused and harmonious. For Chardonnay lovers this producer should be on your short list of top producers!
