The rare Reserve version of Kendall-Jackson's bestselling Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay. Limited. Handcrafted from the top 5% of all the Kendall-Jackson lots, a delicious blend of Monterey and Santa Barbara fruit.  Sur lie aged with lees stirred twice monthly to integrate fruit and oak and promote a creamy mouthfeel. Robert Parker: "The Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay Grand Reserve is scented of ripe honeydew melons, peach blossoms and rose water with a waft of honey-drizzled apricots. Medium-bodied, lively and with plenty of ripe melon and stone fruit flavors, it has nice spice and toast suggestions."

Baked apple, lemon, butter, vanilla, oak. . . Manipulated, stylistically, but tasty nonetheless

Over-Oaked and manipulated so much that it is virtually undrinkable. Unpleasant flavors mar this wine. Not worth buying.

Kj is all I have to say. Little butter at the end. Perfect.

Fruity and full bodied. Silky mouthfeel. Probably better with food given how full bodied. Very long fruity finish. Oaky. A bit overdone for my taste.
