Keever Vineyards Inspirado Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Winemaker Celia Welch (Scarecrow, Corra) is the winemaker at Keever and produced this beautiful Bordeaux meets Napa Valley Cabernet blend. Highly recommended. Tasting Notes: "The aromas of this rich, fully ripe Bordeaux-blend style wine are as complex as they are intense. Bright blueberries, floral notes of violets and jasmine, a touch of cedar, and just a hint of caramel all combine to create a remarkably integrated impression. On the palate, the entry is driven by flavors of boysenberry, blueberry, and fresh raspberries, with the darker notes of mocha, vanilla and cedar a dding weight to the mid-palate. Bright and soft at the finish, the lasting impressions of ripe fruit echo the aromas. As the wine sits in the glass it gains complexity and intrigue. This classically composed blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 12% Petit Verdot shows plenty of fruit and complexity now but will improve, no doubt,with additional cellaring time
