Very tight and closed, yet dense and concentrated, ending with a mix of mineral and ripe berry. Drink now through 2019." The Kanzler Vineyards 2011 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a superb expression of the vineyard and the appellation. The wine is characterized by ripe dark cherry, plum, and black raspberry fruit layered upon earthy undertones. The wine is well structured, with the lush fruit balanced by firm but soft tannins with notes of chocolate, cinnamon toast, allspice and fragrances of rose petal, lavender and a hint of citrus on the nose. Extremely small-production
