Lee Hudson's vineyard in Napa Valley's Carneros region has come to be synonymous with some of the best winegrapes grown in California, going into some of the State's top Chardonnays (Kistler, Kongsgaard, Patz & Hall, Ramey). His own wine is fantastic but super-limited production. Grab some today before this delicious vintage slips away. previous vintage 97 Points Antonio Galloni: "Golden hues hold exotic aromatics of pineapple, ginger, allspice and tarragon. The ethereal Hudson chardonnay has a fresh palate with mid-weight that is marked by a saline quality which is classic Hudson. Flavors consist of pain grille, roasted corn, hazelnuts and flinty mineral at the back end. For a wine of this size it is quite tactile and complex. A lush Chardonnay can make all the difference when paired with delicacies such as roasted chicken, grilled vegetables or lobster tails dipped in warm butter. Enjoy now and over the next 7 years. Delicious! This is simply stunning Chardonnay from the Chardonnay Master. Bravo once again!" 93 Points Robert Parker: "My favorite wine of this trio is the sensational Chardonnay which reveals a Batard-Montrachet-like richness and hazelnut creaminess. Made from an Old Wente clone and aged in 80% new oak (which it hides very well), this wine has good acidity and a surprising, rich, intense mouthfeel with lots of caramelized tropical and honeyed fruit. This full-bodied wine is fresh, which is typical of this vintage, especially for many of the white wines. It appears to have 4-5 years of drinkability." Tasting Notes From Paul Robert, Master Sommelier FRENCH LAUNDRY: "All fruit came in before the mid-October rains. Stony, minerally nose. High-pitched aromas of fresh picked apples, and pistachios. A wine of in- tensity, rather than overt richness. Medium bodied palate, with mild creamy notes. A stylish expression of the Hudson style, with a mouthwatering finish of mint, roasted nuts and lemon custard. Quite long and pretty, more Cha- blis compared to the usual Batard-Montrachet nature of Hudson."

Delicious as always and also in a beautiful drinking window at the moment. The acidity has calmed down enabling the fruit to shine. Crisp, but with a very silky texture. Flavors of lemon, almond and wet stone blend perfectly together. Very nice.

Outstanding - A rich mouthful of peach, citrus and butterscotch with nice acidity. Sultry, lingering finish. Time to drink up!
