97+ Points Parker This fantastic discovery comes from the Hidden Ridge Vineyard in Sonoma County. The terraced vines are on a steep mountainside in a valley with eastern, southern and northern exposures and the typical decomposed granite and alluvium soils of the Mayacamas Mountains. The vineyard experiences cool mornings and evenings and moderate temperatures during the day that allow the fruit to hang for a long time without overripening. Limited. 97+ Points Robert Parker: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon 55% Slope comes from the Sonoma side of the Mayacamas Mountains. It is 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon from a vineyard planted at 1,700 feet. This is a remarkable wine and reminiscent of the great classics from the golden era of the Mayacamas on the Napa side (such as the 1968, 1970, 1973 and 1974) come to mind when tasting this beauty. It is simply loaded. Dense purple in color, the wine has notes of licorice, crème de cassis, Asian plum sauce, cedar wood and earth. Full-bodied, opulent and irresistible already, it is capable (because of the impeccable balance and purity) of aging 20-25 or more years. This is a modern-day classic that could compete with very finest Cabernet-based wines in the world.... ...When I first started doing my centralized tastings of the many wineries that I could not possibly have time to visit, one of the remarkable standouts for Cabernet Sauvignon was Hidden Ridge. These are clearly world-class Cabernet Sauvignons and should be considered by any serious collector for their cellars."

Followed up based on the beach bum waxing about it. It’s very good. Elegant, exotic nose. Slightly woody notes on the palate. Plush texture, with grainy tannins. Very well done. My only counter to this is that there are many cabs in the $50 category that are just as good. Since I paid $79, I conclude there are better values on the market.

Perfumed nose emanates from the glass. Quite seductive. Rich luscious mouthfeel gives way to black olive and chocolate. Flavor lingers for 40+ seconds. Medium acidity. The finish tickles the through like syrup going down. Just awesome

This winery was sold and rebranded to Immortal Estate. This was $55 and then increased (to 75 - 100). Amazing wine at $55 but loses its value around the $70 or so price range. Silky smooth lush dark fruit, cocoa, and cigar flavors. Drinking very well now right. The new winery I boycott on the outrageous price increases but these are very good at the right price point.

Amazing cab. Structure from front pallet to back. Nice tannin structure, that should grow with age. Blackberry and raspberry on the fore pallet with generous mouth feel. Yumalicious

Super smooth Cabernet for Sonoma. Mild, buttery tannins. Spicy. Like a milder caymus. Christmas dinner at house with dad, Myra, Erin.

Found another 6 bottles in Florida for $70.00 each, this will beat out most $150.00 bottles. Ok maybe $100-$125.00 Bottles, but some $150.00 Get it if you can

Amazingly open for a 13, Nice nose on pop & pour Great for $60.00. One of the top 2013’s I’ve had, take it over Nine Suns for sure at a quarter of the price. One of those wines you can’t put down, so good! Definitely worth Parker 97,
