The famous Pinot Noir from the movie Sideways! Very limited The Hitching Post 2014 Hometown Pinot Noir is a fantastic value in Santa Barbara Pinot Noir. HOMETOWN is Hitching Post's early bottling of Santa Barbara Pinot Noir that showcases the delicious fruit of young Pinot, and the balance and seduction of the vintage. This three valley blend replaces the Cork Dancer 7.1, with grapes sourced from the same vineyards near Los Alamos, Santa Maria, and Sta. Rita Hills.

Nice dark cherry skin color. Aromas of strawberry, cherry and a nutty cheese. Delicious flavors, can’t go wrong with an HP wine.

One of my preferred Pinots, because one would think that, hailing from Santa Barbara, drinking this wine would be like licking a puree of an orchard's fresh, fruity bounty, but, in fact, does hide those attributes well behind a veneer of tart, cranberryriffic, alkaline, mulchy forest floor goodness.
