94 Points                                                             The new Flowers 2018 Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast now available. 94 Points James Suckling: "Beautiful dark berries with ripe strawberries and hints of decadence and richness. Some meat, too. Full-bodied, dense and rich with tight and linear tannins. Needs a year or two to soften. Better in 2022." 93 Points Wine Enthusiast:  "The Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a very pretty appellation-level Pinot from Flowers. Rose petal, crushed flowers, sage, mint and crushed berries are all nicely laced together, with a touch of whole cluster influence that adds attractive aromatic overtones. Medium in body, gracious and light on its feet, the 2017 has so much to offer. What a pretty wine this is."

Again, a heavier style again. Lots of oak and a nice dark fruited finish. Black Cherry

On this Thursday night I have opened the 2018 Flowers Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Winemaker Chantal Forthun On the nose there is cherry, raspberry, red currant, clove, herbaceous notes, funk and forest floor. On the palate I am able to detect tart cherry, tart strawberry, raspberry, vanilla, herbal notes, spice and a bit of earthy tones. This wine is medium bodied, well blended and beautifully balanced with medium + acidity and medium fine tannins with a long fresh, clean red fruit finish. As we head into the weekend I hope all are well and please stay safe and stay healthy. Nostrovia!

Stunning Ruby color with aromas of sweet red fruit and herb baking spice. Aged for 10 months on French oak, (18% new). On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with clove, herb and baking spices. Long finish, fine full tannins ending with fruit, spice and slight earthy notes. Top-notch!

Light color. Hits similarly to the Freemark Abbey, but a bit less round and a hint of effervescence I could do without
