New release                                                           One of Napa Valley's most collectable Cabernets, order the fantastic new Far Niente 2015 Cabernet at a special new-release price. 97 Points Brix26:  "Another beautiful Far Niente Cabernet from a great vintage.  Intense aromas of ripe blackberry and boysenberry layered with baking spices and licorice. The entry is full and juicy with a velvety middle palate. Dark mocha flavors emerge on the long finish with chewy, coating tannins. 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot from the historic estate vineyards, mostly from the Stelling Vineyard and aged in 70% new French oak barrels for 17 months." Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon is grown primarily on the estate Stelling Vineyard, located behind the winery in Oakville next to Harlan Estate. This 100-acre vineyard produces wines that exhibit the cassis, blackberry and "dusty" components typical of wines grown in the soils of western Oakville and Napa Valley's finest Cabernets.
