Been drinking a lot of this. Very nice weekday wine. Oak and leather on the nose, slight black fruit. Full body, medium acidity and tannins initially but more pronounced after 15 mins in the glass. Fairly well balanced and a joy to drink. Light on the fruit but a nice long finish.

Well this is really good. If you had to describe California blends in one glass then i would certainly offer this up as a contender. Fantastic nose, almost didn't want to drink it for fear of the taste not living up to the nose, but I shouldn't have worried. Smooth, with a soft combination of fruit, lavender, spices, marshmallow and toast. A real winner for $50 and I will be on a quest to find any lingering 2013 bottles gathering dust in small stores.

Bright-fruited, along with some toasty oak. Shows a juicy mid-palate, but perhaps a bit clipped on the finish. Pretty good value.
