Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 92 Points Antonio Galloni (Vinous):  "The Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a fabulous wine at this level. Sweet spices, rose petal, mint and succulent cherry/plum notes all lift from the glass. Supple and beautifully layered throughout, the Sonoma Coast hits all the right notes. A final burst of fruit rushes across the palate on the refreshing, inviting wine. There is so much to like." A juicy, bold and beautiful Pinot Noir from the SF Chronicle's 2008 Winemaker of the Year. The Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is Failla's blend of young-vine blocks from their multiple Sonoma Coast appellation sources, but mostly from the famed Keefer Ranch vineyard.  Only 500 cases produced.

Wow! A great nose of those classical twigs and branch berries. This continues on into the palette with some ripe strawberry and herb. Tinges of that Cali fruit full and bold in the glass. The ripe fruit is very well tempered by this crafted Pinot. Tea tannins wrap this up into one of those lingering fruit finishes, skipping rope with lowquat like acidity. Another great gift from @Les Doss Thanks Les!

Ripe cherry, berries. Almost warm like a pie. Opened this yesterday so it’s had a day to open fully. Nice!!

Ready to drink and generous from the start with bright red fruit, raspberries and cherry that cover your palate with a lush texture and soft tannins.

Restrained and delicious while breathing. Intriguing after opening up with a subtle peppery finish. Lovely, balanced and refined. A perfect accompaniment to a fine rib eye.

Something wrong w the camera. Pretty good. Glad I got a second go try after a year or so while also comparing it to the single vineyard stuff. I did get a touch of chocolate nib.

Sappy cherry to dark cherry fruit. Nice, but not ready, even with an hour of air. Wait a year or two and this wine will lose its baby fat.
