New Pinot Noir release from the private label of Ehren Jordan, Turley's longtime winemaker. Limited. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 95 Points Wine Enthusiast: "It's hard to believe that this fabulous Pinot is Failla's least expensive selection; what a great indication of his 2012s yet to come and of the vintage in general. It's bone dry and rich in raspberry flavor, with brisk acidity, firm minerality and a perfectly applied jacket of smoky oak. Elegant, pure and savory, it's just beautiful to drink now. Editor's Choice." A juicy, bold and beautiful Pinot Noir from the SF Chronicle's 2008 Winemaker of the Year. The Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is Failla's blend of young-vine blocks from their multiple Sonoma Coast appellation sources, but mostly from the famed Keefer Ranch vineyard. Only 500 cases produced.

Drank 10/28/18 Fairly typical nose for a cooler climate california pinot. Strawberry, red cherry and just a touch of earth. Palate similar to the nose, with medium tannins and high acidity. Some black fruits on the finish. Not overy jammy like many california pinots, though the acidity may scare some off. 3/22/7/4/3 +50 =89 pts

Will come together well in time. It's just young and disjointed at the moment with lots of Cali fruit and tannin on top of it's more restrained backbone. Should be a stunner in this vintage

Words escape me. Weightless. Ethereal. So flavorful. Juicy blackberries, earthy berry brambles, smooth tannins. Best Pinot I've tasted this year.

Fairly intense nose of bramble, spice, dark cherry. Crisp, lively iron, dried cherry, spice flavors. The "village" wine is often my favorite when young. Good shit

Really nice pinot. Nose like chateauneuf; earthy bramble. Strawberry, tart cherry and maybe pomegranate. Mild acid finish. Burgundian comparisons are appropriate, and quality very good. Das hat geschmacht!
