Shiny and polished. Clearly well made and pleasant but without much intrigue. Oak dominates. 14.6% alc. but wears it well. If you told me this had 10% Syrah in the blend I would believe it.

For its name this seems a fitting ‘study’ of a richer Napa Pinot. Expressive warm oak spices and a range of inviting red and black fruit, tart to bruised. Has a Christmas fruitcake quality.

Well a little tight when first opened, it slowly evolves into dark cherry and a beautiful earthy quality.notes include red fruit with a long finish.
