Elyse Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Awesome new release from one of our favorite small Napa wineriesand new winemaker Russell Bevan. With Cabernet fruit spanning three Napa appellations and four vineyards, including our own home estate, comes our second bottling of this wine. A medium bodied dry wine with gorgeous notes of rich black cherry, cola and savory roasted sage sprig. A concentrated mouthfeel gives way to firm, yet elegant tannins that linger.

2018 vintage. Russell Bevan director of winemaking. May ring a bell, perhaps not. The 2017 was delicate and pretty. the 2018 (bigg vintage) has more body and more concentration but still lines up on the pretty side of things. Not your usual Napa Cab palate footprint. Nice for the price and great bang for the buck. 5.18.23.
