It has a classic Russian River Valley vibe in its rich orchard fruits, pear, buttered citrus, and brioche aromas and flavors. These all carry to a medium to full-bodied wine that has the fleshy, supple style of the vintage yet stays firmly in the DuMOL stylistic camp with its vibrant acidity and focused finish. Drink bottles over the coming 7-8 years or so." Winemaker Notes: The DuMol 2018 Wester Reach Chardonnay Russian River Valley has great lines: focused, driven, mineral-laden and pithy, with a level of cool-climate fruit intensity that is very rare. This level of quality and distinctive character is hard to achieve in a larger-production blended wine, but is a testament to our pedigreed vineyards, precise farming, twenty years’ experience, and patient, sensitive craftsmanship.

Love @DuMOL Winery cabs and have been dying to try their chard. This did not disappoint! Made in a Burgundian style, there were citrus and flint notes on the nose. Pear and almond mid-palate. Was lacking as far as acid, but still paired nicely with oysters and tuna tartare.
