One of California's perennial best Sauvignon Blancs - new vintage now available!The 2012 Sauvignon Blanc has vibrant acidity balanced by toasted oak and a rich mouthfeel. The aroma is a combination of ripe melon, Meyer lemon, kiwi, and pineapple complemented by jasmine, honey, thyme, and a hint of spice. On the palate, the flavors are an intriguing mix of tropical and citrus notes with grapefruit, apricot, lemon grass, papaya, and pineapple that linger on the finish.

Wow! Never paired a white wine with pizza, but this beauty paired nicely with a Hawaiian pizza. It had just enough to cut through the cheese. It stood up to the acidity of the tomatoes, and just the right amount of residual sugar to match the pineapples. I highly recommend this pairing.
