Domaines Ott is the king of French rosés. This is the wine The New York Times dubbed "the summer drink to be seen with!" Order while supplies last. Hand-picking, extremely selective sorting and delicate pressing of the grapes, and finally maturing in oak barrels, are just some of the reasons why Domaine Ott Rose has a reputation of being "the finest rose in the world." A delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Cinsault. Domaines Ott's winery is located on a former dwelling of the Counts of Provence, a superb 18th century country house in Provence. The surrounding estate, entirely carved into the rocky land by Marcel Ott, his children and grandchildren, has been remodelled and replanted several times over.

The riviera comes to the east side. This bottle is not the best value, but it is very good rosé. It had plenty of strawberry fruit, great refreshment and cut the mergez sausage and tian de courgette that we ate. I am sure it would be a ten on a cigarette boat in the Mediterranean.

Strong-flavored Rose, with powerful strawberry flavor and nose, but also some strong alcohol flavors in the finish. This is very good wine, but far too expensive for what it is. Drink with food (strong cheese recommended), since this Rose is too powerful to drink on its own.
